Decided to do a simple oil change on the Z today. Unfortuantely yesterday I got backed up so instead of going for a regular nissan oil filter I got Napa one. BIG MISTAKE. Oil change finished started the car up to pull it out of the garage and noticed it didn't seem right then noticed no freaking oil pressure!!!. immediately shut it off hopped out of the car and saw a massive amount of oil in the garage and trailing behind my car. Rolled the car back in after cleaning everything up (very fun but somewhat easy since it was already raining) checked the filter and its snug but coated in oil. Apparently what the napa guys think was the threads weren't machined right. It was the correct oil filter for the car but the threads don't look like the other one they pulled from the back. It appears when I thought it was done it actually needed to go much father. so tomorrow morning I get to do an oil change and then head to work (late by an hour I'm assuming) Anyone ever had this issue. Should I be worried about the car? I figure I ran it about 45 second to minute like that.
